How to get here

Santa Lucía is located in the northwest of the Pichincha province, 80 km north west of Quito.

The journey from Quito takes two and half hours by bus or private transport and then the hike up to the lodge itself takes between one and two hours.

We can arrange private transport from Quito directly to the trailhead ($70.) Or you can catch a MINAS bus to Nanegal from La Ofelia Metro Terminal in Quito ($1.60.) From Nanegal we can arrange for a car to take you to the foot of the trail ($10.) Monday to Friday, buses leave La Ofelia at 12 noon and 1.30pm. On Saturday buses leave at 7am, 10.30am, 12 noon and 1.45pm. On Sunday buses leave at 7am, 10am and 1.30pm. Please ask for more detailed directions.
