People in the Santa Lucía region were complaining about too much rain in August. It was said that this was the rainiest august in many years.
Well, the numbers that we have - at least for the last three years - support this. While the average rainfall for August at the lodge is 64 mm, this August saw 94. In Nanegal at around 1.100 m above sea level it was 67,7 mm - that is almost twice as much as the average of 38 mm.
However, this peak is still still less about the average of any other month of the year. So that's far from being a trend there ....
