The experience
Our ecotourism project provides a sustainable income for our members and this allows us to protect and conserve our cloud forest reserve. Ecotourism in a location such as Santa Lucía is very labor-intensive and we, therefore, need help from volunteers. It is sometimes possible for volunteers to focus on a specific project but usually volunteers carry out a variety of tasks and you should be willing to lend a hand where necessary.
