So here's a little graph that shows that differences in rainfall down here in La Delicia (Nanegal) and around the Lodge. The places are only 6-7 Kilometers apart. The Lodge is of course located at around 1.920m above sea level whereas La Delicia is only about 1.200m.
The total amount of rain at the lodge in 2019 was 3.484 mm and in La Delicia 2.385 mm. Quite a difference.
