Our manual rainfall data collection shows that 2023 was not particularly rainy in Santa Lucía. Although we were expecting an El-Niño-Event with quite a few extra rainfall the data doesn't show any effect yet.
2023 saw a total of 3.702 mm of rainfall at the lodge which is close to the regular number which is at around 3.500 mm.
This year started with a rather dry January - 232,5 mm (average for January is 360 mm).
February was about as wet as expected - 470 mm (average is 480 mm).
