Seed traps rebuilt

We have been collecting seeds in various places in pastures around the lodge for more than two years now. The project was initiated by María Clara Castellanos from Sussex University. For the collection we use traps of a 1m² placed strategically within pastures of different intensities of use.

The traps were heavily affected by several storms that we've had over the last months. Some of them had even collapsed completely.

So Holger did a final collection beginning of March and then Noé reconstructed all the traps in their original places.

Now we can keep collecting seeds until at least the end of 2024.
