Volunteers Working in Research Projects in Santa Lucía.

Walking in the big footsteps of Natacha, Julia and Nicolas (last year's volunteers) we have two students of the Hoogeschool Gent, Belgium working on hummingbird - plant interactions working in the reserve right now.

Wouter and Merlijn are working on two major topics: (1) on filming hummingbird - flower interactions and measuring the quantity and quality of the nectar of hummingbird-polinated flowers. They'll be visiting us until the end of April

Hopefully the weather isn't too harsh. Natacha had to fight a lot with the rain last year during the same season.

Should the reader be interested in working in scientific research at Santa Lucía (either in your own project or in an existing one) let us know: santaluciaecuador@gmail.com is our e-mail address.
